01. The Challenge
Commenda.io had built a powerful platform for finance teams to incorporate and manage entities across 70 countries spanning Transfer Pricing, Global VAT, GST, Sales Tax, Corporate Tax, and Accounting. But their brand and website weren't reflecting the sophistication of what they'd built. The visual identity felt generic, the messaging was dense and jargon-heavy, and the overall experience wasn't communicating trust or clarity to the finance leaders and operators they were trying to reach. They needed a brand and web presence that could hold its own in a competitive fintech landscape while making a complex, multi-layered product feel approachable and credible.
02. The Solution
We started by getting under the skin of Commenda's users - finance teams navigating the real headaches of cross-border compliance, and used those insights to shape both the brand strategy and visual direction. From there, we developed a refined brand identity that balanced technical authority with modern simplicity: a clean design system, purposeful typography, and a color palette that conveyed precision without feeling cold. The website was rebuilt around clarity by restructuring the information architecture to guide different buyer personas through the platform's capabilities, and translating complex compliance workflows into messaging that was sharp, confident, and human.
03. The Result
The new brand and website gave Commenda.io a presence that matched the ambition of the product. Finance teams landing on the site could immediately understand what the platform did and why it mattered to them, whether they were dealing with a VAT registration in Germany or setting up a new entity in Singapore. The refreshed identity also gave the internal team a cohesive foundation to build from, with a design system they could scale across marketing, sales materials, and product as the company grew.
